I'm a Buyer and a Seller.....just not at the same time!

by Claire Martinsen on Tue 15th May 2012 03:37

Like all small business owners I wear multiple ‘hats’ and juggle multiple roles.  Sometimes I’m in selling mode [promoting my soft drinks], others I’m in ‘buying’ mode [buying products and services from other companies].  As a product based business I buy plenty of items – bottles, labels, ingredients, design, printing, accountancy services etc etc…….the list [...]

by Claire Martinsen on Wed 01st Dec 2010 16:53

I love running my own micro-drink business………there is a wonderful rhythm to the seasons, and each part of the year round here is marked by some kind of event/happening.  The run up to Christmas is all about Blackthorpe Barn………the most magical thatched barn just outside Bury St Edmunds. In the lead up to Christmas it [...]

Ode to the rather wonderful Mike Skipper

by Claire Martinsen on Wed 15th Sep 2010 15:07

Its been great setting up my own business, but there are times when one just won’t do….and that’s at Trade Shows!  The shows can get really busy with visitors and you need enough hands to pour drinks, take details and give out literature about the range and where to get hold of it – phew! [...]
