The Source Trade Show 2012
Just back yesterday from Exeter, where Chloe and I had spent two days at the Source Trade Show 2012. It was held at the Westpoint Exhibition Centre, just outside the city centre. There were roughly150-200 exhibitors……..mainly from the South West, with a smattering [well about 30%] of producers from the rest of the UK.
We had a great time – lots of talking to existing customers and potential outlets and sampling of our drinks including our new Cream Soda with Rhubarb variety! I really like regional Trade Shows – they are smaller and more intimate. The layout of the show is such that visitors can explore the whole layout without rushing – so the whole atmosphere is more relaxed and that enables you to spend quality time with each and every visitor.
We had some amazing neighbours -
Jose, the Spanish Ham Master, who carved the most unbelievable cured meats and kept us smiling all day long. The way he carved the meat off the bone was just pure theatre….I could have watched him all day long.
The Love Leaf Tea team – we loved their Mint Chocolate Rooibos tea
Sue and her Walesborough Cheese from Bude – just the tastiest cheese imaginable
Fabulous Vodka – Chris and his caramel vodka were a fabulous neighbour indeed!
So we rolled our way home last night, having had a lovely couple of days at The Source! We made some new friends amongst exhibitors and visitors alike and really enjoyed ourselves – thank you x
