Food Start up Bootcamp comes East!
It’s pretty daunting starting your own business…..probably more so a food business as there are just so many rules and regulations that you have to abide by [labelling; branding; food hygiene; ingredients; shelf life etc]. I may have started this journey a few years ago, but I’m still learning every single day!
There seems to be lots of advice out there for start ups in a very general sense, but very little for Food Businesses specifically. London seems to be the place you have to travel to to meet like-minded food entrepreneurs……until now! Finally, there’s an event right here in the East of England, so no train trips to London required [yipeee!].
If anyone is thinking of starting out, or are just wanting to grow and expand a food business then there’s lashings of advice being dispensed in Peterborough on Wednesday 9th July. Full programme is here. There’s a great line up of speakers covering everything from branding, to legal requirements to advice on how to get onto the shelves of the supermarkets. With so much to do when you are starting out – it looks like a great way to cram a lot of important things into a mornings learning.
I’m also speaking about how I started up Breckland Orchard – and I’m hoping to learn loads too……the journey never finishes.
It would be great to meet you there.
