Getting Ready for the Real Food Festival

I am off to Earls Court later this week to take part in the 2010 Real Food Festival!  There are going to be over 400 Food producers there, as well as celebrity chefs like Raymond Blanc, entertainment [including cows being milked and the ubiquitous Sheep Show].

Real food festivalHaving only started Breckland Orchard last year, things are all still new……and this is the first consumer event that I have done that is some distance away.  In that respect I need to really leave home with everything that I need for the whole four days – once I am there, its going to be impossible to go back home for anything I’ve forgotten!  I’ve come away having forgotten my trusty roll of Velcro [essential for setting up a stand] on more than one occasion so I’ve not got a great track record its got to be said[!!] I’ve tried to estimate how many of each type of drinks I need to take with me…..fingers crossed I’ve got it right!

I love being part of the artisan food world and over the past year have made lots of friends so it will be great to see some friendly faces!  Other local foodies from Norfolk/Suffolk – Grain Brewery, Yum Yum Tree Fudge, Stark Naked, Wicks Manor Pork, Tomato Chilli Jam Company.  Our neighbours from Food/Drink Expo – Pieminister – will also be there. Quite a few of us are ‘Twitterers’ and twitter about food and drinks…..@lalootea @rudehealth.

If you are coming to the show then please come by and say hello – we are on stand P226 [quite near the Sheep Show as it turns out!]
