A glorious weekend at the inaugural Letchworth Food Festival...
Last weekend [22nd/23rd May] was the very first Letchworth Food Festival located in the town centre. The weather was nothing short of glorious, bright sunshine and not a cloud in the sky – perfect infact for everything the Food Festival had to offer – chefs on stage demonstrating recipes and sharing their expertise, regional producers sampling some fabulous food and drink and plenty to keep the children occupied too!
The Breckland Orchard stand was manned my myself and my wonderful Mum [ who is a fantastic help with all the summer shows]! We were sited between Jimmy’s Farm Sausages and Edible Ornaments and their chilli products. The wonderful foodie sights and smells were really amazing! The population of Letchworth came and supported the Festival, and it was lovely to sample and chat to so many folk!
Letchworth itself Cialis has an amazing history – founded in 1903 as a ‘Garden City’ and the inspiration of town planning around the world. The parking for the event was at the Spirella Building…..which used to house the Spirella company, but has been converted into offices – its typical of some of the amazing architecture around the town.
No ordinary town and no ordinary Food Festival…….the Letchworth Heritage Foundation and Inspired Event Management [Jenny and Nadia] put on a Food Festival that was just fab! Thank you guys, we had a really enjoyable weekend
