Breckland Orchard....growing along with the Mini Martinsens
I stumbled across this photo the other day….I love it this as it brings back so many memories. It was taken back in February 2009, when I was about 2 weeks from launching my as then *brand new* Breckland Orchard drinks at Feast East, which was a small trade show organised by Tastes of Anglia.
My friend Kristi was behind the camera, taking some shots of the bottles which were hot off the production line. She took this one of my and the Mini Martinsens at the same time. Poor old Miss Breckland was 15 months old and I’d forgotten to bring any shoes for her ……so she’s stood in the box in her socks. And Master Breckland was a superstar, but as soon as I took him home he had a temperature of about 38 degrees, so spent the next two days in bed! I like that they were so tiny they were able to fit into wooden apple crates with room to spare.
I adore the fact that Breckland Orchard is a real family business and that both the Mini Martinsens have seen the business grow and evolve since the very start…….that’s something really special which I love. Long may it continue……
